The Commission has issued a decision identifying a discrepancy in the way we have presented the extensive professional experience of our team. The case focuses on the fact that the expertise and projects completed by key figures in our company before its establishment were presented as part of the history of "Geothron Engineering."
We would like to emphasize the most important points:
- Our team's expertise is indisputable. The CPC's decision does not contest the actual 15+ years of experience and dozens of successful projects carried out by our specialists, among whom is Eng. Nikola Spasov – one of the pioneers of geothermal systems in Bulgaria. It is precisely this experience that forms the foundation of the high-quality services we offer today.
- The main allegations of deception were rejected. It is of essential importance to us that the CPC categorically rejected the allegations of "misleading advertising" (Art. 33 of the Competition Protection Act) and "unfair competition" in a general sense (Art. 29 of the CPA). This confirms that we had no intention of misleading the market, but only of showcasing the real capacity at our disposal.
- We have taken immediate corrective action. In the spirit of full transparency and in accordance with the decision, we have already updated the information on our website to clearly distinguish the company's history from the rich professional experience of the team behind it.
