Residential Complex “Simeonovo Gardens” – Simeonovo District, Sofia

“Simeonovo Gardens” is a modern residential complex of five buildings, located at the foot of Vitosha Mountain. To meet the highest contemporary standards for energy efficiency and comfort, Geotreon Engineering is designing and constructing a complete geothermal system that will provide 100% of the heating and cooling needs of the entire complex.

The system is of a decentralized type, with a shared geothermal loop supplying individual heat pumps in each apartment. This solution provides full individual control and comfort (through underfloor heating), while at the same time ensuring consistently low operating costs.

The project fully meets the new legal requirements for Class A buildings (minimum 55% of energy from renewable sources) and ensures 100% compliance with the upcoming “Zero-Emission Buildings” (ZEB 2030) standard, completely eliminating the use of fossil fuels.
