QHome 2 – Complete HVAC System, Underfloor Heating, and Heat Pump Supply

QHome 2 is designed as a next-generation building that combines modern architecture with innovative and sustainable technologies. The investor's goal was to build a complete heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system that ensures uncompromised comfort, exceptional energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact. The task required the construction of several geothermal boreholes of 140 m each, the supply and installation of geothermal heat pumps for a specific number of residential units, as well as the supply of "air-to-water" heat pumps, and the integration of systems with underfloor heating and fan coils.

THE SOLUTION

"Geothron Engineering" developed and executed a complex project for the construction of a heating, ventilation, and geothermal system. The solution is based on a combination of high-efficiency geothermal and "air-to-water" heat pumps, which provide heating, cooling, and domestic hot water for the entire building, optimizing the system's operation according to external climatic conditions.

The system includes radiant underfloor heating for uniform comfort during the winter months and fan coils for cooling during the summer, guaranteeing fast and quiet air conditioning. The project covers the entire engineering activity – from design and equipment supply to installation and commissioning of the system, ensuring reliability and a long service life.
